J&D Penner has over 30 years of paving stone, concrete, and building expertise and we love that we work on individual homes as well as many large commercial projects. This project help transformed downtown Winnipeg and provided a gorgeous green space, playground, and splash park for families to enjoy. J&D Penner was proud to be a part of this project and to help leave a mark on Winnipeg. J&D Penner was honoured with the opportunity to help build the Variety Heritage Adventure Playground at The Forks. This playground has quickly become a favourite destination for families across Winnipeg as they cool off in the splash pad, run around the play structure, or learn about the Fork's history. It's a one-of-a-kind playground and we were excited to use Playtop Surfacing throughout the playground. This new surfacing system is 82% re-used materials and fabulous for kids. J&D Penner is excited to represent Playtop Surfacing for Manitoba. J&D Penner also custom built all of the playstructure components and statues through our exciting new Mirage division.

Classic pavers were used to create a wide patio space, perfect for big dinner parties and enjoying the hot tub. J&D Penner also helped create the peaceful walkway and retaining wall surrounding the focus point of the backyard - the gorgeous gazebo.

It's amazing what simple sidewalk can do to transform the curb appeal of a home! Using Barkman Verano paving stones in Sierra Grey J&D Penner was able to add a luxurious feeling to the entrance and backyard of this home. Not only does the paving stone sidewalk look great but it's incredibly durable and much more winter-friendly than it's concrete counterpart.
